Expand your harmonic vocabulary
A mastery of the diminished scale can really spice up your playing, and almost always catches the ear of the listener!
Unlike many scales taught on the violin, viola, or cello, the diminished scale is an 8-note symmetric scale. Because of this, it is often the least familiar scales for classically-trained players looking to improve their jazz playing.
My step-by-step, concrete exercises will help internalize this important harmonic vocabulary quickly and effectively, so that you can more seamlessly integrate the Modern Jazz vernacular into your playing.
Diminished Scale Master Series (Multimedia Bundle)
