Typical Monthly Schedule includes 10 – 20 Zoom classes for members of Creative Strings Academy.

Tuesday 12 -2 pm EST OFFICE HOURS

Tuesday 8 pm est Play-Along (guest teacher)

Wednesday 10 am EST Gentle Guided practice (play along) with Chris Howes

Gentle technical warmups as well as improvisation over different backdrops. You’ll be playing the entire time.

Thursday at 12 pm est Advanced/Challenging guided practice (play along)

Incorporate technical practice with harmonic/rhythmic forms and creative improvisation.

Friday, 4:00 PM Special Topics with Q+A (Guest teacher)

Ask questions about music theory, specifically jazz theory in certain scales, modes, or chords.

Saturday at 2 pm EST Music Biz Mastermind

Get business/career/teaching coaching alongside other music freelancers and entrepreneurs.

Sunday at 12pm to 1:30 pm Play Along with Chris Howes (All Levels).

Incorporate technical practice with harmonic/rhythmic forms and creative improvisation.

Wednesday, 4 pm EST “Tune of the month” Playalong Class (guest teacher)

Guided play-along. Music lead sheets will be shared in the call. Exploring some fun rhythmic concepts and strategies for navigating this and other tunes.

Saturday 6 pm- 7:30 pm EST Office Hours with Chris Howes

Come prepared to play for me or ask questions about music, teaching, or biz.
