Writing Resources for Musicians, Creatives and Teachers

Writing can be incredibly useful for musicians as a tool for communication, business, self-expression, teaching, and personal development.  Over the past 15 years I have developed many strategies for improving, distributing, repurposing, and monetizing my writing. Below are some of my favorite resources for developing your writing- whether for emails, social media, to make videos, communication with your students, or even purely for your own creative outlet.

A List of My Favorite Writing Resources

  1. One of the best ways to see how I use writing is to Join My Newsletter. I send more or less daily emails.
  2. If you are interested in creating your own email newsletter, I highly recommend this tool to segment your readers, schedule and automate emails, reuse emails, create and sell product, and run your business.
  3. One of my favorite writers to study is John Bejakovic. I recommend joining his free email newsletter as a way to study from a true (and advanced) email copywriter.
  4. For teachers interested in writing solely for making a bigger impact on their students’ learning, retention, and/or to save time and grow your students roster, check out my tips on flipping the classroom.
  5. I have coached many musicians in their business and careers: music business coaching testimonials. Contact me if you would like to apply for a free call to discuss your situation and explore whether it is a good fit for you.
