Central Florida Residency & Performances

Five days spanning an Osceola County clinic, a two-school Orlando residency with the Edgewater High and Lake Nona Middle orchestras, a Harrison School for the Arts masterclass, and a public jazz performance. The Orlando residency culminates in a student concert on September 17; campus and public start time will be announced.

Yamaha Day at Sweetwater

An all-day collaboration with Sweetwater and Yamaha Corporation of America: morning school clinics at locations TBA, afternoon video production for Yamaha and Sweetwater, and a private VIP evening event.

October 3 · Asheville, NC

Christian Howes Quartet at Hotel Eve Jazz

An intimate hometown quartet performance in Asheville’s 35-seat listening room, with two full sets of jazz and improvisation at 8:00 and 9:45 PM.

October 5–7 · Lancaster, PA

Teaching Residency & Redemption Time

School teaching and university engagement surrounding a free public screening of Redemption Time at the Ware Center, followed by a visit to Millersville University.

A multifaceted conservatory residency bringing together teaching, performance, and a campus screening of Redemption Time—an example of the integrated performance-and-education programs Christian develops with universities.

A performance supporting Soteria’s work providing reentry services, housing, job training, and long-term opportunity for people and families affected by incarceration.

Creative Strings Workshop & Festival: European Edition

Four days of improvisation, arranging, chamber music, teacher training, concerts, and international collaboration for bowed-string players at every level.

School Orchestra Workshop & Student Performance

A proposed one-day residency with the West Bloomfield High and Middle School orchestra programs: daytime workshops with three student groups and a possible evening performance. Final scope and public details are still being developed.

Redemption Time Screening, Discussion & Solo Concert

An evening at the Global Education Center combining the film, a post-screening discussion, and a solo performance—connecting personal story, social impact, and live music.
