Creative Strings Workshop LIVE!!

The Creative Strings Workshop features many live shows in and around the Columbus area between June 29 and July 4, 2009. These shows are all open to the public.

Renowned jazz violinist and educator Christian Howes announced today the full slate of string concerts taking place in Columbus during the week of his 2009 Creative Strings Festival, June 29-July 4. Ten national guest artists, including violinists, cellists, bassists and pianists, will rehearse with 30 string players from around the globe as part of the Creative Strings Workshop which takes place June 29 – July 4, 2009 at the Otterbein College campus. Ten ensembles headed by these guest artists are scheduled to perform at venues all over Columbus during the week.

The concert schedule begins the evening before the workshop, continues with free weekday lunchtime performances, and finishes the evening of July 4th. Here is a complete listing of the concerts:

All concerts at Dick's Den take place from 9:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m. June 29 - July 4 with a $4 cover charge.
